STUDY OF ENGINEERING-GEOLOGICAL CONDITION OF THE TERRITORY OF BAKU CITY IN ORDER TO DETERMINE THE LEVEL OF SEISMIC HAZARD

Abstract

Engineering-geological studies have been conducted in a part of the territory of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Baku city (Sabayil, Yasamal, Nasimi, Narimanov, Nizami and Khatai districts). Mainly engineeringgeological and hydrogeological data, obtained from more than ten thousand wells drilled in the study area, aswell as geomorphological conditions have been studied.
