Abstract

Tectonics, engineering-geological, seismological, hydrogeological conditions of the area were  investigated in connection with seismic hazard assessment in Yasamal district. Detail seismic zoning of this area was carried out on the basis of engineering and geological data obtained from numerous construction areas. İn this article, seismicity was assessed in faults covering the Absheron peninsula, including Baku.
