STRONG EARTHQUAKES HAPPENED IN THE TERRITORY OF AZERBAIJAN IN 2014

Abstract

The article is dedicated to the seismic geodynamic and macroseismic  research of 3 strong earthquakes (Hajigabul - 10th of February, Zagatala - 29th of June, Gabala - 29th of September) occurred in 2014 and seismic situation of Azerbaijan
region in the same year. As the result of research the seismicity of Azerbaijan region increased compared to the last 10 years. Was established geodynamic situation of Earth’s crust in the source zones of strong earthquakes occurred in the same year and
was determined the connection of earthquakes with any fault, their types, the distribution of macro seismic space according to land, it’s direction and minimal intensity spaces.
